WHAT IS A SMASH ROOM?
A smash room (or rage room) is a controlled environment in which participants can safely break items for entertainment or stress relief.
WHAT CAN I SMASH?
Our smash packages include common household items like glassware, dishes, and electronics. Specialty items like car windshields and office copy machines are also available. You can even smash a used car!
WHAT SMASH TOOLS DO I USE?
We provide you with various tools and implements for smashing, including crowbars, baseball bats, golf clubs, and sledgehammers.
IS THIS SAFE?
Safety is our #1 priority. We provide all necessary safety gear including goggles, face shields, gloves, and jumpsuits. Participants must also watch a brief safety video before getting started.

Do you take walk ins?
Yes, we take walk-ins at participating locations any time during normal business hours, subject to availability. Contact your local iSmash to confirm walk-in rules and availability.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Make sure you are wearing closed-toed shoes. Boots and jeans are recommended but not required. Jumpsuits are available at participating locations for a nominal fee. Otherwise, just bring your smile and an appetite for destruction!
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY BOOKING?
Please have all members of your party arrive promptly for your scheduled booking time. We buffer 10 minutes into each session to allow participants time to check-in, sign waivers, watch the safety video, and put on their gear.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR SMASH ROOMS?
You must be 18+ to participate. Youths/minors age 8+ can participate with the consent of a parent of legal guardian.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER? IS IT AVAILABLE ONLINE?
Each participating adult must sign a release before participating. Each participating youth/minor must have a release signed by a parent or legal guardian. Our waiver form is available on the location page of the iSmash you are visiting. If you book online, there will be a link to the waiver form in the confirmation email sent to you after booking. You can also complete the waiver when at the time of check-in using one of our kiosks.
FOR A GROUP PACKAGE, ARE THE ITEMS SHARED OR PER PERSON?
Unless otherwise noted, all items listed under each smash package are per person. Your smash room will be prepared with a separate package for each participant.
DO YOU HAVE WI-FI? CAN I PLAY MUSIC?
Yes and yes! We have free Wi-Fi, and each smash room is equipped with speakers and auxiliary hookups for iPhone/Android devices so you can play your own smash soundtrack at no extra cost!
CAN I BRING MY OWN STUFF TO SMASH?
Yes, we have a B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Box) package. All items most be approved by us upon arrival. The following items are prohibited:
- Pressurized cans
- Light bulbs
- Heating or cooling mechanisms
- Anything poisonous or toxic
- CRT monitors or televisions
CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC ITEMS TO SMASH?
You may request specific items you wish to smash during the booking process or when you arrive. We will do our best to provide these items based on our inventory, but we can’t make any guarantees.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS DURING MY SESSION?
Of course! We allow you to take unlimited pictures/videos with your mobile device. We’d love if you tag us on anything you post to social media! We also have cameras installed in each room, so if you’d rather focus on smashing and leave the recording to us, you can purchase a video of your session either at the time of booking or when you’re done.
CAN I DRINK AND SMASH?
Not with this kind of smashing, unfortunately. We reserve the right to deny service to any person we suspect to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I'M PREGNANT?
Our safety guidelines do not permit pregnant women to participate.

How does the paint room work?
Each participant receives a set number of containers and squirt bottles full of paint (depending on the package purchased), a canvas, and brushes to paint with. Participants can paint their canvases, the walls, the floor, or even each other if they’d like. At the end of the session, each canvas is boxed and given to you to take home.
How much does it cost?

How old do you have to be?
The minimum age for our splatter paint rooms is 3 with a parent or legal guardian signature.
What should I wear for Splatter Paint?
We provide safety glasses free of charge but we also offer a poncho pack for $5 per person that includes a rain poncho, rubber gloves, shoe covers, and a hairnet.
Will I get dirty and messy doing Paint Splatter?
How dirty and messy you get during your Splatter Paint experience totally depends on you and the members of your group. If participants decide to splash and squirt paint on each other, then they will likely get very messy. But if you are calmly painting your canvases with brushes, it is unlikely you will get dirty or messy.
Will the paint stain my clothes?
We use a water-based paint that easily washes off most articles of clothing. However, we are not responsible for any stains or damage to your clothes that may result from participating in the Splatter Paint activity.

How does axe throwing work?
Once you’re checked in and briefed on safety rules, a staff member will lead you to your designated throwing lane(s). Staff will then reiterate safety rules, tips for throwing, and how to use the target system. When complete, your session time will begin.

Unlike many axe-throwing places that paint targets on their boards, iSmash uses a mounted projector that illuminates the target blocks with games. There are multiple games to choose from: Standard Target, TikTak-toe, Connect 4, Zombie Hunter, and more. Your group has full control over game selection during the allotted time.
What do I need to wear and bring?
The only dress requirement is closed-toed shoes. You do not need to bring anything.
How old do you have to be?
The minimum age for our axe-throwing is 13+ with a parent or legal guardian’s signature.

I've never thrown axes before. Will someone be present to help me?
All staff members chaperoning axe-throwing groups are expert throwers. They are there during your entire throwing session to give tips and feedback (if requested) that will assist you.
Is axe throwing safe?
We take many safety precautions to keep your experience safe. All participants must watch a safety video prior to the activity. They’re also monitored regularly by staff to ensure safety standards are followed.

Additionally, our axe lanes are constructed with rubber no-bounce-back borders around the targets. There are also rubber mats on the floor. These rubber mats deaden the axe when hit so it does not bounce back.
